Glacier Ice and Snow Arena offers a comprehensive group lesson program for skaters of all ages and abilities. With several different skill levels, skaters can be matched with others of similar ability while gradually improving their skating.
Group Figure Skating Lessons are a fun way to learn skating basics or improve your skills. Learn in an environment suited for your level and learn with individuals with a similar background. Single programs run for 8 weeks.
Group Skating Classes for Children
A nationally sanctioned program by the United States Figure Skating Association (U.S.F.S.A.). Students not only learn from their instructors but by watching their fellow students. Our lesson programs are for all ages and ability levels. Ages 4 and above.

| This program is designed to help children between the ages of 3 to 6 develop coordination and strength on the ice. We make the classes fun as well as a great learning experience. We do require the children wear helmets. It is also important to wear warm clothes and gloves. |

| These different levels teach the fundamentals of skating to children 6 and above. The basics are extremely important when learning to skate. They will learn such things as skating backward, crossovers, edges and much, much more! Each class becomes more challenging as well as more enjoyable. |

| Once your child has passed the hockey 1-4 they are ready to go into our hockey 5. These classes are for the more advanced child ready to learn the skills necessary in game situations. They have full ice for each of these classes. |

Classes: Depending on your skating level, classes consist of eight 40-minute lessons, and eight practice sessions (valid that day only).
Lesson Schedule: Lesson days are Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday. Lessons are scheduled mornings, afternoons and evenings according to ability level and age considerations.
Tests: Students are graded individually at the end of their eight weeks. Each student receives a graded test sheet for future reference and practice.
Professional Staff: The professional instructors at Glacier Ice and Snow Arena are available for private as well as group lessons. Our professional teachers are members of the Professional Skaters Association. All of our staff instructors are highly qualified. Most have achieved their U.S.F.S.A. Gold Medals with P.S.A. Senior and Master ratings in figures and freestyle. Several were regional, sectional and National champions. Meet our coaches.
Watch your children gain confidence, self-esteem and better coordination during this positive experience. The U.S.F.S.A.'s lesson program has proven to be a valuable tool in teaching skaters of all ages.
